Dr. Erik Zeegen

Dr. Erik Zeegen is an orthopedic surgeon located in Santa Monica, CA. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996 where he earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree. Later, he completed a general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency also at UCLA. After that, he received fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. Currently, he performs most of his joint replacement surgeries at the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital, but he is also available to see patients at UCLA locations in Encino and Thousand Oaks. Additionally, he has been voted one of the top 70 hip surgeons in the United States. Dr. Zeegen uses the latest joint replacement technologies which allow him to treat his patients in a manner that allows them to return to an active lifestyle with minimal post-operative pain.
