
Dr. Mark Freeman is an Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in joint replacement and is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Freeman earned his Medical Degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and then went on to complete his Residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine – Chattanooga. After that, he completed his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Freeman also serves as the Medical Director for the Orthopaedic Program in the Erlanger Health System. Additionally, he has served as a guest speaker for numerous medical education meetings at the regional and national level. He is also involved in resident education, where he serves as rotation chief of reconstructive surgery and arthroplasty. Dr. Freeman has also been recognized for his work. In 2007, he earned the Resident Teaching Award for the University of Tennessee Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
