Dr. Stephen Duncan

Dr. Stephen Duncan is an orthopedic surgeon located in Lexington, KY. He earned his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and then completed his residency at the University of Kentucky. Following that, he completed his fellowship in joint preservation, resurfacing, and replacement at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. Currently, he is affiliated with the University of Kentucky Healthcare, and he specializes in hip and knee replacements. Dr. Duncan strongly believes in getting to know his patients so that he can determine the type of treatment that would work best for them. The thing he finds most rewarding about his practice is seeing a patient who experiences large amounts of pain, no longer feel that pain because of his work.
