Eric Timko has over 25 years of experience in the medical industry. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Blue Belt Technologies, which was acquired by Smith and Nephew in January of 2016. Eric joined Blue Belt in August 2011 and lead the company from development stage to a commercially driven organization achieving over $10 million in revenues in its first full year of commercialization.
Prior to joining Blue Belt, Eric served as President and CEO of NeuroVasx, Inc., President of Carl Zeiss Surgical, Inc., and as Vice President of Siemens Medical Systems, Inc.
Eric possesses a proven track record in building an effective and profitable organization and brings vast experience in medical technologies at both the start-up and commercial stages and across many specialties such as orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and ophthalmology. He also serves on the Boards of iotaMotion, Nico Corporation, and the Palmetto Chapter of the Folds of Honor Foundation.
Jamy Gannoe has 25 years of medical device experience with significant start-up and early stage company expertise. Jamy’s career includes assignments in orthopedic, cardiac, endoscopic and general surgery. Prior to joining OrthAlign, Jamy co-founded and served as CEO/CTO for Extremity Medical. Earlier, Jamy held executive and technical leadership positions for Blackstone Medical (Orthofix Spine), Satiety, Heartport, and Brimfield Precision. Jamy holds a degree in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Jamy is happily married and a proud father of two sons.
Mike Bushlack has over 15 years of financial leadership experience in the medical device industry working with early growth stage and large multi-national companies. Prior to joining OrthAlign, Mike was Chief Financial Officer of Blue Belt Technologies, Inc. and held executive financial leadership and business development roles at ev3 Inc., Covidien and Medtronic, where he has a proven track record of partnering with business teams to develop and implement strategic plans and financial processes and focus investments to drive growth and enhance entity value. Mike began his career at KPMG LLP in Minneapolis, where he was a Senior Manager.
Dennis Tisza has over 25 years of sales and management experience in both early stage and highly developed medical device companies. Holding leadership positions with Baxter, Biomet, OrthoHelix, Tornier, and most recently Smith & Nephew, Dennis brings a strong record of success and significant experience leading direct and indirect organizations, ensuring continued growth and achieving corporate objectives. Dennis holds a BS in Marketing and Management from Park University and is a former member of the United States Air Force.
Karyl Haskell has over 20 years of regulatory affairs and quality assurance leadership in the medical device industry working with start-up, emerging technology, and large multi-national companies. Prior to joining OrthAlign, Karyl was an independent consultant in the medical device industry, working with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiovascular companies. Karyl has held the executive positions at NeuroVasx, superDimension, Covidien and Medtronic, where she has lead global regulatory approval strategies of novel medical devices and has developed quality systems to accommodate significant growth in volume and revenue. Karyl has established a history of leadership to focus on business growth while maintaining a high level of compliance to regulations.
Nic Aldrich has over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry. Most recently, he managed a global marketing team at Stryker, focused on revision knee, hip and limb salvage implants, and was involved in several key 3D printed product launches in the primary and revision knee space. Prior to joining Stryker, Nic was part of the marketing team at Ansell Healthcare, where he focused on strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Ansell, Nic worked in finance for two Johnson & Johnson companies: Cordis Corp, a cardiovascular/endovascular company, and Ethicon Inc, a suture and surgical technologies business. Nic has a proven track record of developing strategies and driving efficient and effective marketing campaigns that deliver results.
Amit Bobby Nandi has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry ranging from early stage, mid-size and large multi-national organizations. Prior to joining OrthAlign, Bobby was an Operations leader at Terumo Corporation’s neurovascular division, Microvention Inc., where he was responsible for all their Class III PMA devices used for brain aneurysm therapies. Bobby has a proven track record of not just establishing but scaling and leading an Operations group which he accomplished at two privately held, venture-backed start-ups- Sequent Medical Inc. (subsequently acquired by Terumo Corp.) as well as a cardiac imaging start-up called InfraRedx, Inc. Prior to his start-up experience, Bobby held various engineering roles at both Medtronic and Stryker and holds engineering degrees from both Cornell University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

William Hanna is a Managing Director with California Technology Ventures, LLC (CTV) and Jacobs Capital Group, LLC (JCG). He brings extensive experience and expertise in the financial and investment industries to the team. Mr. Hanna is the Founding President and Director of Cedars Bank. Under his tenure, the Bank grew from $6 million of assets to over $500 million and achieved consistent profitability in each year. The bank was sold in 2006 for an excess of $125 million, which was 25 times earnings and 4 times book value. This resulted in a return of over 21 times to the original investors.
He served as Vice President of the Corporate Finance Department at Smith Barney & Co. and as Director of Smith Barney International. In these positions, Mr. Hanna was involved in all facets of investment banking, including stock and bond issues, initial public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital. He also worked internationally for Smith Barney in Paris, Tokyo, and Beirut, Lebanon.
William Hanna was awarded a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
Chris Martin is currently Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Research Corporation Technologies, Inc. (RCT). RCT is a technology investment and management company that provides early-stage funding and development for promising biomedical companies and technologies. RCT focuses on technology investments with origins from universities, research institutions and independent inventors worldwide. Along with his management responsibilities, Mr. Martin directs RCT’s medical device team and portfolio of investments.
Mr. Martin has been involved with creating, funding, and managing several startup companies and ventures. He currently serves on the boards of Leto Medical, OrthAlign, ParinGenix, Varix Medical and VasoNova.
Chris Martin earned a BS in Biology from the University of Michigan, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.
Carter McNabb is a Managing Director with River Cities Capital Funds. Carter joined River Cities in 1999 and leads the firm’s healthcare investing practice. He has been instrumental in setting River Cities’ healthcare strategy and establishing the firm’s credibility within the healthcare vertical.
Previously, Carter worked in marketing and business development for Home Technology Healthcare, a comprehensive home healthcare company offering nursing, DME, infusion therapy and hospice services. Home Technology Healthcare was private equity financed by Continental Illinois and acquired by Integrated Health Services in 1997. As the 1998 recipient of the Bradford Fellowship for achievements in corporate finance, Carter worked in equity research at J.C. Bradford & Co. while attending business school at Vanderbilt.
Carter has achieved several highly profitable exits in healthcare services and medical technology including Accelecare, Horizon Resource Group, OrthoHelix, Suros Surgical Systems, National Medical Solutions and Orthoscan.
Carter holds a BA in Classical Studies from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) where he was awarded the James Goodwin Prize, the oldest academic honor at the college, and received his MBA from Vanderbilt University. Carter serves on the Cincinnati Parks Foundation board and is an independent director on the board of Onconome, a molecular diagnostics company.
Wayne co-founded Mutual Capital Partners Funds in 2004 and leads the firm’s healthcare investing practice. He has been instrumental in setting MCPF’s healthcare strategy and establishing the firm’s credibility within the healthcare market.
Previously, Wayne worked in investment banking for both National City Investments and McDonald & Company. Wayne was the first employee hired by the new co-heads of the investment banking group and played an integral role in sourcing and executing transactions, recruiting talented professionals, and significantly growing the group’s revenue. Wayne performed substantial financial, economic, and industry analysis and provided client advice, financial structuring, and investor contacts for companies seeking to raise capital or engage in merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities. His investment banking experience includes engagements with numerous private and public companies including Actron, Dots, Cumberland Gap Provision, Royal Appliance, Plantronics, and others.
Wayne’s most recent highly profitable exit in orthopedics was OrthoHelix Surgical Designs. (Sold to NASDAQ: TRNX) While Wayne was on the board the company’s revenue grew over 8,000% and the exit generated more than a 5x cash on cash return.
Wayne holds a B.S. in in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance from The Ohio State University and was recently named One of Northeast Ohio’s Leading Young Executives.
Wayne serves on the Lakewood Catholic Academy board of directors and resides in Lakewood, Ohio with his wife Kristen and three children.
Ron Yagoda is a Founding investor of OrthAlign, Managing Partner of DryAz Consulting, and Chairman and co-founder of CyMedica Orthopedics, Inc. Mr. Yagoda has 48 years experience as a professional investor and entrepreneur. He is a former member of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and a graduate of The University of Oklahoma, also attending OU Law school. He sits on the boards of University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business, The Bizzell Memorial Library, DBM Global, Inc., and CyMedica.
